Good evening! 

We wanted to provide you all with a quick update and check in on our progress: 

  • We continue to work with you behind the scenes to help junior staff win raises from the MRA increase in House Offices. 

  • We are urging that Members use this funding on equitable increases and give junior staff a seat at the decision making table. 

  • We demand House leadership bring Rep. Andy Levin’s resolution to grant us our overdue protections to organize and bargain collectively to the floor expeditiously. On April 13, 2022, we sent a letter to leadership urging floor consideration the week of April 25, 2022 and they failed to act. 

  • House leadership, where are you? The clock is ticking and we aren’t going to wait…

We would like to hear from YOU: 

  • If you’ve had success in winning raises or haven’t seen a penny of the new funding, let us know here. 

  • If you’d like help in how to approach the conversation with your colleagues and advocate as a collective with management, let us know. We have resources to help!
