We need your solidarity! Vote happening TONIGHT

Hello friends,

The United States House of Representatives will vote TONIGHT on giving House congressional staff the basic rights to organize and bargain collectively without fear of retaliation.

Congressional bosses had previously made special carve outs to limit our rights. After months of organizing and pressure from our union, workers across Congress, robust support from many of you, Congressman Levin, and many more, we are going to have protections.

We would deeply appreciate your support in uplifting and affirming the importance of this vote today to show who the true labor champions are. We must uproot union busting everywhere, on Capitol Hill too.

We are requesting solidarity through posts on social media starting this afternoon and through the evening when the vote takes place, expected roughly between 6:30-9PM.

We encourage you to amplify our tweet here on the vote: https://twitter.com/Congress_Union/status/1524096477580210177

And our tweet on our op-ed: https://twitter.com/Congress_Union/status/1524007652765970432

Please reach out if you have any questions.

In solidarity,

CWU
